Success Stories

I visited many chiropractors for the 22yrs I toured the country, playing golf tournaments on the LPGA tour. They all helped in many ways but when I started seeing Dr. Cherie Smith I started feeling more in balance and my hip stability gave me added power to hit the ball farther than in my early days on tour! My chronic neck pain disappeared and my body seemed more flexible. Now I'm semi-retired. I had never won on tour but amazingly under her care I broke through with my first professional win on The Legends Tour. I ended up #1 on The Legends Tour  2002 money list that year. I have since won another event on The Legends Tour and my body feels stronger everyday! She is a wonderful, positive person who has a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to give her patients. I truly think she was the main reason for my success. She incorporates Chiropractic and bio mechanics to improve your sport.

As a 48 year-old runner, I thought my running days were winding down, until I met Dr. Cherie. I was having a chronic knee pain that no one had been able to fix. Dr. Cherie stabilized my pelvis and adjusted my feet and knees and shared her vast knowledge of the interconnectedness of all moving parts. After she stabilized my hip rotation, I was able to run pain-free for the first time in years. In fact, I ran my fastest half-marathon in 15 years, and I feel a heightened sense of wellness. Dr. Cherie is truly a gifted healer and treats each person as a whole.

First and foremost, I give a lot of credit to Dr. Cherie for my glowing, healthy pregnancy.  As a 42-year-old professional athlete I was not a particularly good candidate for an easy pregnancy, especially because of my history of a badly broken ankle and vertebrae damage, as well as my small stature.  At one point early in my pregnancy I was afraid that was coming true.  My energy started to get very low.  I felt flat-footed, heavy.  I experienced twinges of pain.  And then I discovered Dr. Cherie.

From the very first day, I would leave her sessions with feathers on my feet, with tons of energy and great focus.  And not only that, over the course of pregnancy pregnancy, while I was being adjusted, I would feel my baby making her own moves in response to Dr. Cherie's touch.

While she understands completely what pregnant pregnant woman and her baby are going through, Dr. Cherie also has incredible empathy for many body types.  As and athlete herself, she understands the mechanics of high performance physical activities, and she provides great advice on nutrition and exercise programs as well.

My daughter, Lorelei, was born on Sept. 27, 2005.  We brought Dr. Cherie into her life almost immediately.  From her trip through the birth canal, Lorelei's neck was crooked, and her jaw was slightly uneven.  During her adjustments, Lorelei would giggle, stretch and show obvious signs of pleasure.  Within months those visible symptoms of birth stress were unnoticeable, and she continues to enjoy being on of Dr. Cherie's patients.

There is no doubt I was lucky to have Dr. Cherie through my pregnancy.  Now I look forward to her help in returning to, and maintaining, the health and fitness I enjoyed a s a professional athlete, not to mention her role in raising a healthy, "well-adjusted" daughter.
